“All-Black" Effect OCA Bonding

All black display effect in TFT LCD module circle is a new&trending technology, which uses a kind of special OCA glue on cover lens to do CTP assembly work. It makes the whole surface of the display unit uniformly black when the display is off and provides excellent viewing experience. It’s known that there is distinct grey shadow in active area for TFT LCD touch screens by regular OCA bonding or air bonding due to light transmission and air gap between the TFT LCD and touch panel, while for touch screens by “all-black” effect OCA bonding, the entire screen looks all black in standby mode. Because the all black display effect applies a special OCA glue named Dyed OCA glue, which accord with the black printing color on the boarders of the cover glass. Camera Monitor System Digital Mirror

Commercial vehicles features with heavy sizes. Even though they are equipped with large side mirrors, there are still blind spot on the two sides of the vehicles for the drivers. When faced with terrible weather or poor road conditions, it would be a great challenge for the drivers. Tens of thousands traffic accidents happened to commercial vehicles, a third of which were caused by blind spot. And a accident of commercial vehicle is often a fatal one due to the heavy load and large inertia. Therefore the safety of commercial vehicle has gained extensive attention worldwide in automotive industry. And technical innovation is the top priority. In recent years, digital mirrors are gradually starting applying in commercial vehicles, replacing the side mirrors. The digital mirror system is know as CMS(Camera Monitor System). It uses cameras and displays instead of traditional side mirrors. With two interior display monitors and two cameras mounted on either side, the driver of commercial vehicle could fully and fastly capture the situations around the vehicles. How to Choose the TFT LCD Displays for Charging Piles

With the popularization of electric cars, electric car charging piles will become the focus of the development in the automobile industry and energy industry. Charging piles could be used for charging various types of electric cars. and these usually are fixed outdoors. 12.3" Camera Monitor System

The digital side-view mirror, virtual rear-view mirror, or electronic rear-view mirror is named by ISO standard organization as camera monitor system(CMS). The camera monitor system consists of external digital cameras, internal digital monitors and software processing image. The conventional glass rear mirrors can be replaced by integrated digital camera and digital monitors with better safety and better vision.   Blind Spot for Traditional View Mirror   Features of conventional rear view mirror   1) Narrow vision zone and wide blind spots. Limited by the design of the size and distance,the viewing angle of the traditional rear-view mirror is narrow and it is easy to be blocked by the C/D pillar of the bus/truck or obstructions. Smaller exterior mirrors offer weight savings, improved aerodynamics, and enhanced fuel efficiency.   Worldwide Laws for camera monitor system   1.1 Situation of camera monitor system in China The content of GB 15084 "Motor Vehicles - Performance and Installation Requirements for Indirect Vision Devices" [3] is based on the requirements and test methods specified in UN-R46 regulations. Therefore, the installation of rear-view mirrors in China is also a mandatory requirement, and CMS is currently not allowed to replace such rear-view mirrors (except for V and VI rear-view mirrors). In 2018, the revision of the GB15084 standard was officially launched in China, and it will be possible to allow CMS to replace traditional rear-view mirrors in China in the near future.   1.2 Camera monitor system in Europe Europe, as the first region to implement UN ECE regulation No.46(R46) has allowed the usage of CMS to replace traditional rear-view mirrors in 2016. Major vehicle companies have also begun to develop related models. Currently, there are mass-produced models for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.   1.3 The situation of camera monitor system in Japan Japan makes"1958 Agreement" and has adopted UN-R46 regulations simultaneously. Now camera monitor system are allowed to replace traditional vehicle mirrors. 1.4 Camera monitor system in the United States The US regulation of FMVSS 111 for indirect vision devices stipulates that vehicles must be equipped with physical rear-view mirrors, and camera monitor system is not yet allowed to replace mirrors. In March 2014, the Alliance of Automakers and Tesla Motors petitioned NHTSA to update FMVSS 111 to bring camera monitor system compliance. OCA Optical Bonding

OCA bonding is the full lamination of cover lens or touch panel to TFT LCDs. It is one of the technologies that fully bonding The LCM and touch panels or cover glass together by solid transparent optical clear adhesive or liquid transparent optical adhesive. Comparing with the traditional air/DST bonding, OCA bonding could well eliminate the air gap between LCM and touch panel or cover lens.   DST Air Bonding VS Optical OCA Bonding   Benefits of Optical OCA Bonding 1)Enhancing the display performance.The interlayer reflection is lower by OCA bonding technology. Therefore it could reduce the interference of ambient light reflection and increase the LCM light transmittance. The images contrast ratio would be strengthen accordingly as well.   2)By the full lamination OCA bonding, it eliminates the air gap between cover lens or touch panel and the TFT LCD displays. Therefore no dust or moisture would appear inside the air gap. Dust among the gap is the most common drawback for DST air bonding method. OCA bonding could perfectly avoid the issue and improve the user experience greatly.   3)The integraty of the assembled display by OCA bonding ensures the durability and ruggedness.   4)Optical OCA bonding technology ensures the structural integrity, design flexibility, and functional and aesthetic properties, etc   As optical OCA bonding technology has evolved into the mainstream. Mini LED Display

The LCD industry has experienced many technical innovations during the past 50 years, from TN LCD, HTN LCD, STN LCD to TFT LCD and OLED. TFT LCD has been enjoying its spotlight since late 1980s. Now is the turn of OLEDs, which has been widely used in smart watches, smart phones and laptops with its excellent display features. And it seems the next generation display technology would be Mini LED and Micro LED displays. Many major manufacturers have been investing in mini/micro LED displays,foreseeing the promising prospects.   Many manufacturers have started mass production of MINI LED displays, while micro LED technology still requires enormous investment before MP. As you could see in below fig., in which are the specs of a 16 inch mini LED display. We know how TFT LCD works. The light from backlight module transmits through the TFT panel and several optical films to display images. While mini LED displays just replace the backlight module with tremendous mini LEDs in arrays. The LEDs in a matrix would be a separate unit to control the brightness of its own. In this way, mini LED displays could offer very high contrast ratio and deep black as well as wide color gamut. Another significant advantage of mini LED displays is that it could achieve high brightness more easily, with lower power compared with TFT LCDs. With quantum-dot film, it could achieve the same excellent performance as OLEDs. Furthermore mini LED display avoids the issue of burn-in as OLED display has. The 16 inch mini LED display features with 4K resolution(3840x2160), thin bezel, contrast ration of 100000:1, wide color gamut, and high brightness. The rich color, wide viewing angle and fast response time make it perfect for E-sports monitor display, high end laptops and automotive displays. Due to the tricky process of mounting thousands of LEDs onto the control circuit, it’s quite expensive for the mini LED displays. But comparing with all the improvements mini LED display offers, the price is worth it.
